Gin Out™

PROTECT YIELDS AND IMPROVE QUALITY WITH GIN OUT™ PGR.

Gin Out™ is a plant growth regulator that modifies the cotton plant in several beneficial ways. Uniquely formulated with kinetin, Gin Out reduces excessive cotton growth and puts more emphasis on boll development to help maximize yield and quality. It provides all the performance of mepiquat chloride with unsurpassed growth control and better boll retention. The addition of kinetin helps to stimulate leaf expansion, bud formation and delays leaf senescence, ultimately boosting yield and quality.

use summary

APPLICATION RATES AND TIMING STARTING AT MATCHHEAD SQUARE
(Low-rate multiple applications)

* Use higher rates if previous application was not made or if growing conditions are conducive to vigorous growth.
** The first application should be made when 50% of the plants have one or more squares that are 1/8 to 1/4 inch in diameter.

APPLICATION RATES AND TIMING STARTING AT EARLY BLOOM*:
Apply 8 to 16 fl oz/A depending on cotton height, bloom stage and vegetative growth. Do not apply more than a total of 48 fl oz of Gin Out (0.132 lbs mepiquat chloride)/A per season. Fields should be carefully scouted and this product should not be applied if plants are under severe stress from weather factors, mite, insect or nematode damage, disease stress, herbicide injury or fertility stress.

*See label for special instructions for KS, OK, TX.
** Use higher rates if previous application was not made or if growing conditions are conducive to vigorous growth.

Preharvest Interval (PHI): Do not apply within 30 days of harvest.

SPRAY VOLUME
Ground application: Use a minimum of 2 gals of water/A.
Air application: Use a minimum of 2 gals of water/A or a minimum of 1 qt of oil/A.
